This evening I pressed on the app to update my versa. It started to say downloading then after only a few seconds, put me back to the previous screen on my phone. When I checked my versa screen it’s since been left with the Fitbit dots logo on its screen. The update still shows as available in the app but just does the same thing. It’s been like this for half an hour now and no sign of updating or the dots disappearing and getting my display back.
has this happened to anyone else? Anyone know what’s happened or what I can do?? Thanks Dawn

Hi @Thommo8 , unfortunately this happened to a lot of Versa users who wanted to update to the newest Firmware Version. This bricked a lot of Versa's or drained the battery like hell. Seems that this latest update is hardly/not compatible with the Versa, but only the Versa 2, which I have. Sorry to mention that, regards kuzibri

If this is the case, then Fitbit has been totally irresponsible in still having this firmware version still available for unsuspecting Versa users to continue to download this firmware knowing all the issues it has. They push upgraded mobile app and firmware updates without properly testing them and the customers end up with so many issues.
This really leaves such a bad taste with me regarding Fitbitb as a company. My trust in this company is gone. Bottom line is that they don't care about their users and this continues to be proven over and over.
I'm happy I trusted my gut and opted not to download this firmware but feel bad for all the users that trusted Fitbit and downloaded a firmware that has bricked their perfectly functional Versa or made them perform sub par.

i got my fitbit wet and it won't turn on what should i do ??
