I start Alexa, it shows "listening". When I speak the little bars dance, so apparently the microphone is working. Yet every time, when I am done speaking it switches to "thinking" for several seconds, and then I get the error screen: Ask Again. Sorry, I didn't get your request
Alexa on the Versa 2 is possibly the worst implementation of a "feature" I've ever seen on a smartwatch.

Hi, thank you for sharing that you've been having trouble with your Versa 2 watch @Richj44.
Before considering other options, make sure to disable your voice assistant:
Then try to set it up again following the steps listed in this article, to check if you're still experiencing the same inconvenience. If your watch is still not recognizing the commands, make sure the correct language is set up:
If you recently went swimming or got your watch wet, there might be water in the microphone. Wait a few minutes for the microphone to dry, then try again to use your voice assistant. In addition, please try to restart your watch following these steps.
Hope this helps.

Hi David,
What would the next steps be if we're still experiencing issues and that did not resolve it? I haven't been swimming and this issue has been occurring consistently for ~2 weeks. I have not swam with my Fitbit ever, it's on the current firmware, and I've restarted.
Furthermore, I'm on the correct language, my app is running, and I'm on the same wifi network I was previously.

I forgot to mention that the listening display shows that the mic is working and there have been no falls/bumps prior to the feature not working.

Yep, after working ok for a while mine recently started doing the exact same thing again. They can't help you because they don't realize how buggy the watch is. They just think if you set it up right it will work perfectly, just like in the brochure!
Eventually it'll start working again. Of course, it'll eventually stop working again too. Really disappointing.
