My wife has a brand new Versa 2 and cannot get audio with Alexa. Should she be able to hear Alexa? If so, how does she enable this.

If using Alexa through the Versa 2, then no, there is no speaker. All response will be through text. 

This is explained in her user manual also in fitbits help docs. 

How do I use Alexa on my Fitbit Versa 2?
