About 2 days ago I noticed that the amount of steps showing on the app was more than the amount on my watch.
I feel like my watch might be also adding extra steps because it seems unlikely that today I walked 11,000 stops when I'm usually working to get 10,000 and it's not even nine p.m. .
I did an experiment where I subtracted my watch steps From the app steps and wrote down the difference. Then I walked 250 steps according to my watch. Stopped and looked at the app and very fleeting it said the same amount as my watch and then it changed to another higher number. I did the math to see if it was the same difference as the other time and it was completely different. The first time the difference was 250 steps this time the difference was only 77 steps. I got up and walked around maybe 30 steps looked at my watch again noticed that the steps on the app were different again and this time the difference was 370 steps.
My sad guess is that my versa 2 it's just dying finally I've had it for quite a while and several features do not work anymore you can't do anything but use the actual watch face. I just thought I would see if anybody else had experienced anything like this and if they had an idea what might fix it. I will say it happened after the last update to the app but not right away. Any insight would be helpful thank you.
