Thanks for the details in your post. Please try the troubleshooting steps from this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? to sync your Versa 2 with your phone. If the heart rate stopped working, you can perform a soft restart by pushing the left button for 10 - 12 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon on the display.

 

By the way, I moved your post to the Versa 2 board to keep our Community organized.
