Versa 2 Not Accurately Tracking Treadmill

Picture for reference.

My fiancé found my Versa 2 a few weeks back after not using it for 2 years, and it was working fine.

Last night, I did my normal treadmill exercise. I noticed for about 3 minutes, even though I was walking at 3 speed at a 5 incline, it was tracking my heart rate as resting. So I stopped the exercise, and my main screen showed my rate more accurately, at about 130. I started the exercise again, and it seemed pretty normal. To prevent it from happening again, I reset the Versa 2.

I just finished my treadmill walk, this time 3 speed with a 6 incline, and at first, it tracked my rate as a little above resting. So I ended the exercise, and started again, but I don't believe it tracked correctly. It showed an average of about 130, but I don't know how that's possible when I was actually doing a harder workout. It also showed my MPH, distance, zone minutes, and steps at half of what last night's accurate reading showed. It said I burnt only 130 cals, but my treadmill (which is normally within 10 cals of the watch) said I burnt over 200.

Any ideas? It's really discouraging to not know how well I'm doing in my fit journey.
