Versa 2 Notifications Barely Work on Android

I just got a new Versa 2, upgraded from Blaze. The notifications aren't working on the Versa 2 and I have an Android phone. I made sure the Blaze was off, Fitbit app is fully updated, sync is on, notifications turned on properly, even restarted a few times. The only app I get notifications from sometimes is Snapchat. I have gotten 2 texts on my Versa, but only those 2 times ever, and the test call notification has NEVER worked. How do I fix this? Please I would love to use my Fitbit Versa 2 at full potential. Thank you.

Your phone is not on the Approved Devices list so may work for some functions and not others.

Thank you for looking into that for me! I checked and I am at Android OS  8.0 and my phone is technically a Moto Z. Is there anything else it might be? 

Because officially the texts come through but not consistently and calls never work.

I have same issue.  Samsung S10.  Everything is up to date.  Sometimes I get notifications, sometimes I don't.  Not sure why the inconsitency
