Versa 2 - Super Excited

I just pre-ordered the new Versa 2.  I cannot wait until it arrives.  The new features are going to be great and make the watch even more useful 😊

I ordered the Special Edition Navy/Rose Gold.  I paid for overnight shipping because I want to get it as soon as possible.  I have been checking the website everyday for it to go on pre-order.

Nice choice. I see it currently says shipping in  2 - 3 weeks. Bet they are going to be long weeks for you!

The built-in Amazon Alexa and the always on display option.

I only wish it had native GPS...I hope the Ionic. Gets a refresh soon too!!

@cathm Yes the Amazon Alexa integration is a very welcomed addition, something I will hopefully make good use of. I'm also looking forward to the faster performance and larger AMOLED display. 

@Cantryboy I understand the reasons why GPS wasn't included and except it, but I agree, hopefully Ionic will get refreshed to include these new features soon. 🙂

Pretty disappointed they did not add GPS, or at least give any hint that an updated Ionic is coming.  The GPS/phone connection on my Versa is pretty much useless and I ended up buying a purpose built GPS computer for my bike.  I would be curious to know if the Versa 2 can manage a ride with constantly losing connection to the phone's GPS

The Versa 2 does sound exciting!  And so did the Charge 3 (which still has unresolved issues) and the Versa (which still has unresolved issues).  So honestly why should I believe or trust anything Fitbit is saying about the Versa 2?  I see they mention that blood oxygen level graphs are COMING SOON!  Well there are things that were features listed as COMING SOON! about the Charge 3 (an entire year ago) that have never actually happened.  I'll believe it when I see it. I used to LOVE Fitbit, (I am currently using an Apple Watch). I used to be one of their biggest cheerleaders.  But they have lost my trust and I view everything skeptically now from them.  The whole "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on ME."  definitely fits here. They have a long way to go to build my trust again.  I'll wait and see if the new Versa does anything close to what they are advertising AND doing it without constant device problems and software problems etc.  Oh I also find it funny that their new page featuring the Versa 2 shows the OLD fitbit app layout instead of the new layout.  I really wish they'd stop releasing so many new watches and just finish perfecting the ones they have on the market already.  My 2 skeptical cents.

UPDATE EDIT:  I originally posted that the blood oxygen graphs were only going to be available with the $80 premium service.  After reading the press release again, it appears they will be free.  My bad.

Do you happen to know if they have covers for the versa 2??? Me and my boyfriend pre-ordered ours last week but can't seem to find anywhere to buy a case to protect the screen and outside, we've found the Original Versa covers but those have 2 extra button holes on them
