My Versa 2, new in August 2020, lost connection with my Android phone a few days ago unprovoked.
I have spent many hours attempting to get it back online but to no avail. I did the following:
Turned fitbit on and off using the the physical button.
Turning the android phone on and off many times.
Forced closed and reopened the app many times.
Turning Bluetooth on and off many times.
Removing the device from the app and attempting to set it up again many many times.
Uninstall and reinstall app many times.
Hard reset fitbit and set up many times. Here is seems like I get traction (asks for the passcode number, and then finds it, but will not "bluetooth pair and link").
Factory reset phone.
Also fails on my android tablet and on my iphone (work phone) and out of desperation, my windows 10 PC. The unit was hard reset between attempts to other devices.
Please advise.

After several hours (6ish) of attempted self-help and and 1.5 hours on chat with FitBit help, it is going back for replacement under warranty.

Seems like this is a common issue.
AS you have done all the troubleshooting probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
