My Fitbit Versa 2's dropped suddenly and dramatically from approximately 90% battery to 0%, and now will not recharge. Ive had it for less than 3 years. Is there anything that can be done to revive it?

Best AnswerHi Guy. Many thanks for getting back to me. Apologies, it's actually a Versa 3, not a Versa 2! So, I was out for a run on Friday, and there was some pretty heavy rain, but is the Fitbit not designed to withstand a bit of rain?? I got it to come back on, but it's not holding charge for any proper length of time. It dropped 50% battery in less than an hour. It's a bit disappointing that that it's not a bit more robust than this, especially given that swimming is suppose to be an activity you could record!

@Martin85 - thanks for the clarification and extra information.
Those symptoms do seem to indicate water damage.
Unfortunately the seals on Fitbit watches are not so robust and do detiorate over time and types of usage.
High battery drain of that nature probably means and internal short circuit.
Once that happens the damage is probably too severe to recover fully but placing in a bag of rice for some days might draw out some moisture.
