Versa 2 battery draining

Anyone else's Versa 2 suddenly lose its battery life? I went from getting 4-5 days to 2ish days suddenly. I was getting a full 24 hrs from the initial low battery life alert to dead but now it's less than 8 hrs.

Not that I'm a suspicious person, but I follow the sub for Pixel 4a and it Google recently pushed an update that kills the battery life in an attempt to get people to stop using it. Now I'm wondering if they are trying to push people to the Google watch.

Hi there, @ric99. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that the battery of your Versa 2 is not lasting as expected. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Regarding your inquiry, please note that the issues with the Versa 3 and Sense are very apart from other Fitbit devices, including the Versa 2.

With that being said, please bear in mind that as all rechargeable batteries age, they deteriorate to some extent and an older device will need to be charged more often than a new one. The best way of minimizing this effect is to avoid deep discharges of the battery. To maximize the overall life of your Fitbit device's battery, ideally keep it between 20-80%.  Many people find that a daily battery boost works best ( e.g. giving it a 15 minutes charge while you are showering in the morning). I'd recommend taking a look at this help article Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Mine is the same, after a recent update my battery lasts less than a week. It lasted 6/7 days before. Really disappointed, I treated myself to this watch after my versa 2 lost it's charge after a couple of days (after many great years) now I may as well not have wasted my money on an "upgrade" which doesn't hold it's charge either 😕

Bit that's not what's happened. The Fitbit has updated and gone from a week's battery life to a couple of days. This is to do with your update and not ages of the device. Very disappointed in your response to be honest
