Hi, I have a Versa 2, about 2 years old. Up to now the battery life has been fine lasting approx 5 days between charging. Now I am lucky if it goes 2 days before the battery dies. Any suggestions. Thanks

Hi there, @Tankengine. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2.

In addition to the tips and recommendations provided by @Guy_, please bear in mind that as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

Hi @Tankengine - there can be several reasons why a good battery life suddenly changes if used the same way.

  • the clock face developed a fault - try changing to another one
  • there is a syncing issue - try turning off Bluetooth except when syncing
  • the watch developed a fault, such as water getting in, check it doesn't get hot while charging or is showing other symptoms.

Try restarting the watch, and logout of the Fitbit App  and restarting the phone.

As the phone, the Fitbit App and device firmware have updates it may affect how the battery is used and so how well it lasts.
