Since the update, when I go for a run, my Versa 2 buzzes regularly. I believe it's every time it loses track of my heart rate that it goes off, and then when it picks it up again... Which, when running, appears to be all the time... Is there a way to stop this, it's killing my battery much faster and is annoying.

Hi there @Sawkie, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2. I understand how annoying tis can be.
There are 2 ways to receive heart-zone notifications after you enter a heart-rate zone during an exercise in the Exercise app.
The number of times your device buzzes indicates which heart-rate zone you’re in:
Number of Buzzes | Heart-Rate Zone |
---|---|
1 light buzz | Below zones |
1 buzz | Fat burn zone |
2 buzzes | Cardio zone |
3 buzzes | Peak zone |
Turn off weekly Active Zone Minutes notifications in the Settings app on your device.
If the battery keeps draining after turning off the AZM notifications, see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
Let me know if you have any questions present.

I have active zone notifications off in the exercise app for run but it still buzzes quite regularly while running. Since I run daily, this excessive buzzing for my hour run appears to be the cause of the lower battery life (I skipped running 2 days in a row as a test, and battery life was normal). My watch never buzzed during exer use before the firmware update. I do not want it to buzz. Its got the battery life of a wish watch if I go running, but I didn't pay wish prices... Is there a way to roll back the firmware as a test?

After further testing it appears that active zone alerts are turned back on every time the run exercise is auto detected - so I get the notifications between every change and also it buzzes every time it loses track of my heart rate (which it does quite a bit) for any period of time. So with the new firmware, the setting for alert on zone changes is turned back on every auto detected run.

Just looking for any response to my updates - I have isolated the problem to:
When a run is auto detected, it turns back on the heart rate zone notifications (in the exercise app -> run -> Settings -> Heart rate zone notifications )
I turn it back off but next time I run, when the exercise is auto detected, the watch turns this setting back on.
