I've had my Versa 2 for well over a month now as a means to try and get fitter and lose some weight.
I chose the Versa 2 for its value over other smartwatches for their overall functionality but steps was still a main factor, but I am having a miserable experience now I am back at work and the vibrations on my machine counting thousands of excess steps and I am so very close to sending it back.
Why is it this is still not fixed after seeing topics posted well into 2 years ago???
Just a simple app that I can toggle on and off will do! My phone picks up about 5K steps a day due to foot movement but fitbit picks up 20K sometimes!

I'm having a similar problem. I'm sat on the toilet and the watch tells me I've got 81 steps off my target left to take during that hour, by the time I've wiped my bum and washed my hands - not moving more than one step - the watch congratulates me cos I've attained my goal! Very annoying.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums @SpanDecks @G0uranga.
Thank you for all the information you've provided about your Versa 2 watches.
@SpanDecks, could you please provide a few extra details about how these extra steps are being counted? Let me know if you mean that your watch is counting steps while you're driving in your car or vehicle.
In the meantime, please make sure that you've tried the restart procedure as described in this article, you can also find more useful information about the accuracy of Fitbit devices here. Let me know if these are helpful for you as well @G0uranga.
Keep me posted.
