How do I go about fixing my cracked screen or do I need a new fit bit

Generally speaking, fitbits are not repairable so it sounds like you need a new one. Unfortunately, the warranty excludes accidental damage so you may not be able to get one from Fitbit for free. I suggest contacting customer support via contact.fitbit.com to see if there's anything they can do.
