At 1st my steps halved from over 7000 to 3868 after reading 2019 forums I shutdown Fitbit and forced stop app. When I re opened I'd lost more steps down to 3002

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To better assist you with this, can you please clarify if the steps are being deleted from the Versa 2 itself or from the Fitbit app after you sync? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Only steps are being affected or other stats as well? Which phone are you using? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your device and troubleshoot the Fitbit app with the following steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Samsung a21s I've only had for 2 weeks. Steps deducted from versa 2 itself
after not syncing to app
