Versa 2 display and charging issues

I've had my Versa 2 for less than a year. In the last few weeks I've had some strange problems where it just stops tracking heart rate. It's done some other strange things like counting my active hours but not syncing that data.

Today I decide to try stop/restart. I did that and later looked at the watch and it is dead. I know the charge was around 85% when I did the restart. I've tried putting it in the charger for about 30 mins. to no avail. I found one article on the forum, but that concentrated on the idea the device was not charging. I know that not to be the case. I also found something that suggested a factory reset using all three buttons. Hoever, that's still prediated on the watch firing up, which it does not. I have not abused this watch in any way.

I'm open to suggestions. Right now, I'm going to stick it back on the charger for a hile, but I don't think that's really doing any thing.

Just a quick update. I did receive the replacement device, but with an older firmware version. After being unable to figure out a way to update the firmware, I again contacted support vis chat. I chatted with two different reprenstatives who were polite and tried to help. Both insisted there was nothing to be done. They told me firmware is relaeased to devices in batches and I would just have to wait my turn.

Fortunatley, I had read in this forum that at least a couple of people had fixed this issue with a factory reset. When I inquired, I was told it would not help. I did it anyway. It worked.

The reps I worked with were doing the best they could. But the forum posts suggesting a factory reset were months old. It might be a good idea to update documentation.
