My Versa 2 only counts stairs correctly about 40 to 50% of the time. I have to climb at least 13 flights to record 10. These are the same flights almost all the time. I have restarted the Fitbit every day for awhile to see if that helped and it doesn't. I know the firmware recently updated. This may not seem like a big thing but I'd like accurate numbers.

It could be down to the height of the stairs. You get a floor if the fitbit detects a rise in elevation of around 10 feet while you are walking without pausing. If your stairs are around 10 feet high then it could be that some count, some don't.
If you think this might be the case you could test it by lowering the fitbit to the floor at the bottom of the stairs, and raise it above your head when you get to the top. This will increase the perceived rise in elevation and should always log a floor.
