Versa 2 counting floors hiking up a mountain but not down. Had 104 floors when I got to the top and still had a104 back down on the bottom. Any help on why this could be happening

That's how it is supposed to work; you get floors from going up but not down.

Hi there @Pauled58. Thanks for the details shared on your post about the floors on the Versa 2. @JohnnyRow Thanks for the input.
So as @JohnnyRow mentioned, your device registers 1 floor when you climb about 10 feet or 3 meters. Your device uses changes in barometric pressure combined with the steps you take to calculate floors climbed. Fitbit devices don’t count floors on stationary exercise equipment, such as a StairMaster or treadmill or when you go down a flight of steps.
