Since a couple of days the screen of my Versa 2 is frozen. I have tried to turn off the device by press the button. However it does not work. I have also deleted the device in the app and re-connected it. And the cync is working and it is connected to the mobile via Bluetooth. So now I think I have done all. Do I have to buy a new watch or can anybody help me to solve my problem.

Hello @Subbe48
I moved your post from the Android platform forum to the Versa product help forum since your issue seems to be with the device, not the Fitbit Android app. Hopefully, someone here who has experience with the Versa 2 will be able to help you.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Subbe48. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 screen is frozen. Thank you for letting us know about the steps you have followed in order to correct this.
Please try changing your watch's clock face with the instructions of help article: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Many thanks for your reply. I have now tried to chance the clock face. The new clock face flash up. But it is only half. However, the screen is still frozen and the watch is impossible to turn off. I am now waiting for the battery to become discharged. Or do you have any other suggestion?
Best regards,
Anders

Hi Missie57
Have you been in touch with Fitbit about the problem? There seems to be a bug in the system, since there is a lot of people with the same problem. I do like my Versa 2.

Many thanks for your message. I can't turn off the device. I am now waiting for the battery to become fully discharged.
I have now posted information about where and when I purchased it to Fitbit to see what then happens.

That's what I'm doing also. My fitbit is 9 yrs. Old so I won't feel bad if
I have to purchase a new device. Thanks for your help.

First I want thank everyone for their replies.
My battery was dead this morning. I put my fitbit on the charger and after
a couple hours I had my clock face back. I am going to let it charge for a
while before I try anything more.

I had my Fitbit in the charger last night and now I have my clock face back as well as all other functions.
Therefore, I will recommend everyone having the same problem to do the same to solve the problem.
Best regards
Anders

Thank you for your feedback @Missie57.
@ggrandma2006, Have you tried restarting your Charge 5 connected to the charging cable?
I really appreciate your advise @Subbe48.
We look forward to get you back on track.
