Versa 2 got water inside it

I thought the Fitbit watches were waterproof? This is the second Versa 2 that I have had water issues. I don't swim with my watch but due wear it while taking a bath or shower. My less than 6 months old Versa 2 was working better my bath, but now has gone down. Any suggestions other than buying another?

Hi @Stakedawg  your post was moved to the Other Versa Smart watches forum area for more relevant responses. If you're under warranty, you can always check with customer support. You could put your pebble part into a dry bowl of rice for 48 hours to get the moisture out of it. You would then clean it, especially the contact points before charging and restarting it. Don't charge it before removing the excess moisture or it could fry the battery.
