Hi there @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums.

 

Before anything else, I'd like you to make sure that the mobile phone you're using is included here Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

 

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

If the steps don't work, note our team is aware of a syncing issue on Andriod 3.37 and is currently working on a fix. Thank you very much for your report and patience. Please stay tuned to this thread for updates.

I have had this Fitbit for a year and this is the first time I've had a
syncing issue. Hopefully the update is to blame and the issue is resolved
soon.

My versa 2 was working just fine until Tuesday evening! Now it's not even showing up in bluetooth! Seems like everyone else has the same problem! When do you think it will be solved? Noone has answered my question!

My Versa 2 is also not syncing and on following your advice above, it would appear that my phone is now not compatible (Samsung J6).  It has been fine since Christmas when I got the tracker, but since the update is now useless.  I really hope this syncing issue will sorted soon

ME TOOOOOOO!!!! Nothing I do is fixing it. Restarting the app, restarting the watch, restarting the phone. Clearing cache. NOTHING.

There's a bug in the last Fitbit App update for Android phones which stops phones syncing, Hopefully they will issue a fix soon. In the meantime if your watch works it will keep data for about a week and best to not make any changes till its fixed.
