Hi guys,

My versa started having a glitchy screen a few days ago and now it does not want to switch on or charge.

I tried resetting and cleaning but it still does not work.

Please advise on what i should do. I love my devise and use it daily

Hi there, @Rene1212. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is still unresponsive. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, please try the steps below in the order listed:

1. Even when the screen is blank, try syncing your Versa 2 with the Fitbit app:

- From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
- Tap the device they want to sync.
- Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

2. Make sure that you've restarted your Versa 2 by following these steps

3. Change the clock face:

- With your device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab and then devices icon and then your device.
- Tap Gallery and then the Clocks tab.
- Browse the available clock faces. Tap the clock face you want and then Install.

4. Sync your Versa 2 with the Fitbit app again.

They told me to fly a kite.

It was a software update that bricked older watches. They won't or can't patch it or revert to a previous install. My watch face displays but I can't tap or swipe; only turn on and off the display with the physical button.

They wanted to give me a discount on a $$$ brand new watch because my warranty ended years ago. Forced obsolescence scam.
