I've had my fitbit for less the 2yrs and am having Major issues. After having it got 9 months the tracker for heart rate and sleep stopped working, then (most recently) it won't stay sync with my phone so i can reply to messages, and now it's giving me a green screen of death! This to me seems to me an issue with all versa 2's and the reviews for the versa 3's are no better.... has me wondering if this is a manufacturing problem of low quality parts?

Hi there, @Todd1991. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2. I understand where your concern is coming from.
May I know the model of your mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here.
If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend the following steps:
1. Remove the Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.
2. Restart your Versa 2.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
5. Set up your Versa 2.
The restart suggested above should help with the screen not working properly. However, if the screen remains green and you managed to sync your Versa 2, please try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
As for the heart rate and sleep issues, I'd recommend trying the following steps to make sure your heart rate is working:

Additionally, I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:
