My Versa 2 has been working perfectly for a little over a year. Suddenly, it started turning off randomly. When I push the button to turn it back on, the screen flashes the Fitbit sign, but nothing happens. It will only come back on when I charge it. The app my my phone will show that it has 32%, for example, but when it comes back on a minute later, it will show 96%. It is losing charge very quickly, and the amount of time it will stay on has been decreasing all week. I get less than an hour at a time without needing to charge it again. But to be clear, the battery is charged. The device just turns off and won’t turn back on without charging it. Help! I love my watch but it should last longer than a year. It has a protective cover and hasn’t been damaged.

I'm having exactly the same issues. Since doing an update, it barely holds charge, struggles to sync (watch and phone will say different battery percentages) and the screen randomly turns off even when the device is charged.
Were the support team able to offer advice on how to fix this?

Hi there, @Abbe89. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Fitbit device after the update.
To better assist you, may I know if you've tried any troubleshooting steps so far to rectify the issues?
If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend taking a look at this help articles Extend your Fitbit device's battery life and Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
The restart provided in one of the help articles shared above should also help with the screen issue.

I have tried all of the above.
I charged it to 100% last night, and this morning I've pressed the side button to wake it and it doesn't turn on. It vibrates briefly, then the screen flashes with a blue logo on a black background, then a black logo on a blue background - 15 times total then it comes up with a large red cross. So I can't get it to turn on in order to do a restart.
I've only had this for about 18months, surely it should last longer than this!
