Versa 2 linking to Google Home?

I'm considering buying either a Versa 2 or 3.  All the Black Friday deals seem to have the Versa 2 on, no sales on Versa 3, so I have a few questions.  I know the V3 has more features, but the only one I'm interested in is that it can link to Google Assistant.  I don't have Alexa, I use Assistant.  Would I be able to talk to the V2, say, and ask it to add something to my Google Assistant shopping list?  Or would I have to download some sort of third party app to get Alexa on the V2 to be able to talk to the Google Assistant?

Unfortunately the Versa 2 does not yet have GA support and might never have it TBH. Fitbit is just now rolling out support for Google to V3 however it's hard to say if that feature would be available.

 

I would compare all other features, as there are vast differences in terms of music ability and hardware etc.

 

I personally decide google support wasn't at the top of my list but music playback was so went with the V2.
