Versa 2 - no notifications

I just got my first Fitbit and was quite excited. However, the only notifications I am able to get on it is phone calls - no emails, no text, no calendar. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Version Rev 1.0, so I am not 100% sure it is compatible. However, after reading all of the comments here, I am uncertain if it is worth keeping given the many users who are having issues with notifications (and I have tried all of the suggestions in the troubleshooting guide). Is the Versa 2 supposed to work with this phone, and/or when a fix is supposed to come out? Or is my best bet to return it and get something else?

Based on the issues many have had with the Versa Classic I would return while it is still under warranty and wait to see how it pans out.

Hi @GSKR  Unfortunately the Note10 is not on the Supported Devices List, so I guess you have a decision to make. Fitbit are generally a little slow at adding new phones so it may well come, but I have no idea if or when as that is not informario Fitbit gives out.

Hi @NellyG ,

Yes you are correct. @fitbit always claim that their watch is working with IOS and android for all phones and selling their watch. None of their distributor's are also aware of their hidden adjustments like the compatible phone list. What is the use of a smart watch if it does not work with the latest phones ?

Very disappointing experience after buying Versa 2 watch for my Android based phone OnePlus 6T.

This phone is one of the most successful phone in the market. This model is not older than one or two years and they(Fitbit) don't support it.

Very disappointing and strongly recommend not to buy these watches.

Did you go through your settings in the Fitbit app? When you go into the app in the left hand corner where your picture is select on that.  Then select your Fitbit device that is paired and scroll down.  You will see notifications listed here and can turn on your emails and stuff. I wasnt getting anything either until I found this.
