Versa 2: no settings icon

I have a new Versa 2 watch. I completed all the configuration. When I swipe right from the clock screen, there is no Settings app.

The first page shows Excercise, Spotify, Relax and Weather, next one has Music, Wallet, Deezer and Tips, and the last one has Alexa. Those are the only apps I see. There is no settings. I tried restarting the watch, but to no avail.

Hello @PawelRoman

That’s quite odd. You actually swipe left (you said right) to get to settings on the Versa 2 but I figured that’s just a typo because you clearly named all the other apps that are in the same area. Let’s see if settings were even installed. Open your Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Versa 2 and now tap gallery. Next scroll down and tap settings. Does it say installed? If not tap install. Once it completed the install sync your Versa 2 to accept the changes. Now look to see if the settings gear icon appears on your Versa 2.
😃 Hopefully this gives you the best answer for your particular question. Please come back and let me know how it goes.

Yes, I meant I scrolled it right 🙂 Anyway, thanks for the answer - it helped! I was actually looking for some page listing installed apps but did not expect it to be under "gallery", lol... I now have settings, and it also installed a few other apps: alarms, clocks, timer & agenda.

What's weird is that those apps started installing only after I opened the gallery screen in the mobile app. It looked like they were already queued for installation, but started downloading when I opened the gallery. My phone and watch had wi-fi all the time, so not sure why they did not install in the background (and why all those other apps did install?). Anyway, thanks for your help.

I’m super happy my instructions worked for you @PawelRoman! 😉 The other apps popped up because you most likely got notifications from apps you use while setting up your new Versa 2. It’s designed that way. I hope you really like your Versa 2. I’ve had mine since September 2019 and still absolutely love it and has gone strong with no issues. I hope the best for you as well.  Enjoy the rest of your week and as always Happy Stepping!
