Versa 2 not getting notifications

I have tried all the advice and my P30 Pro still is not pairing up and sending notifications to my versa 2

Hi there, @ShauneenS. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling. 

 

Are the notifications not coming through at all? Do you receive any error message in the Fitbit app?

 

I recommend you to follow the troubleshooting steps provided here How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? 

 

In addition, as you have a Huawei phone, you can try:

 

  1. On your phone, open the Settings app > Apps and notifications > Apps.
  2. Tap Fitbit > Battery.
  3. Turn off the Power-intensive prompt option.
  4. Tap Launch.
  5. Turn off the Manage automatically option, and turn on the Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background options.
  6. Tap OK.

Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.

I'm not getting any notifications on the Versa 2 either. Mine syncs fine but no notifications since last night. worked perfectly fine up until then. This is the 3rd time now I seen this on a post

It's been the same for me since last evening. I have the versa 2.

I have a Versa 3 and since the Fitbit update notifications are not coming through from my HUAWEI P30 Pro. I went through all the troubleshooting steps, I contacted Support via chat and received the same answers, that were in the troubleshooting guidelines and still nothing.  As I see form the community forums, this has been an issue for more than a year. Dear Fitbit Support, is anything going to happen regarding this issue, or should I stop trying and return the watch? For this kind of money, I would expect some level of customer support.....
