Versa 2 not recording exercise

I always get my steps in every day and exercise more than 30 minutes a day.  Lately my Versa 2 doesn't record my exercise and even when it does, it doesn't record exercise for the day!  I just may have to switch to a different tracker!

Thanks for the details shared in your post. Most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities through the SmartTrack feature. To start, your device recognizes activities at least 15 minutes long. If your Versa 2 isn't registering your activity, I'd recommend lowering the auto-exercise recognition setting to 10 minutes. You can do so on the Fitbit app:

  1. On the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Exercise tile.
  2. Tap on the gear icon at the upper right corner.
  3. Tap an exercise, and adjust the duration to the 10 minutes

If that doesn't work, I suggest you to restart your Versa 2 following the tips here

In addition, note that you can use the exercise app on your Versa 2 to get credit for the complete activity. You can see our help article How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device? For more information.

On a side note, I've moved your post to the Other Versa Smartwatches board to keep our forums organized.

Hope this helps.

Now my Versa 2 doesn't sync.  It has recorded 47 minutes of exercise but doesn't show as an exercise day.  None of the data will sync with my phone or my online account.  My battery now only lasts for 2 days.  Something is obviously wrong with my Versa 2.  I've followed the instructions on the app on my phone and turned off Bluetooth and then turned back on.  That didn't work.  The app also says there's a firmware update available but there's no way to download the update.  My Versa 2 says everything is up to date.  HELP!!!

I've just tried to use my phone to scan via bluetooth for my Versa 2 and it can't be found.  Versa 2 has been restarted and the phone has been restarted.  It looks as though the bluetooth has gone out which would explain why nothing is syncing.
