After wearing my versa 2 in the pool on Tuesday it has gone dead. Blank screen will not charge and can’t reset. I have worn it in the pool before with no problems. Is there any support for this kind of issue? My Fitbit is 2.5 years old. and was working just fine. Does the waterproofing disintegrate over time?

Hi, @Usertwyx , no device is ever water “proof” - they are only water “resistant” and unfortunately, yes, the resistance can reduce over time due to exposure to skin creams, other cosmetics, strong sunshine, pressure from jumping into the pool etc.
If your issue is water, with luck, once you have dried off your Versa, and restarted it, it may work again. I would recommend putting it in a bag of uncooked rice for 72 hours. The rice should absorb any moisture from the Fitbit.
After a period in the rice, please put your Fitbit on the charger for a couple of hours (if it gets hot, obviously disconnect it immediately and pop it back in the rice!). Once it has had two hours charge, try the reset procedure using the buttons, as per this help article .
With luck this will solve your issue. You may need to try the restart procedure a couple of times if it fails at first. If it does come back to life I would avoid wearing it in the pool in future.
If this procedure doesn’t work, it may be worth contacting Fitbit Customer Support on Contact.Fitbit.com . Even though your Versa will no longer be covered by warranty due to its age, they may have an offer for you.
I hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
