Versa 2 refusing to sync

This has been an on going problem for weeks now. I only wear the fitbit to bed in order to record my sleep data. I would then sync my device with my tablet in the morning. After that, I turn the fitbit off. I will only turn it back on when going to bed the next night.

It is only attached to one device, an android tablet.

Things I've already done:

Restarting both fitbit and tablet

Turning on/off the bluetooth

Updating the fitbit app (multiple times at this point)

Unlinking and (with great difficulty) relinking the fitbit to the tablet.

Factory reset the fitbit

Switched to syncing the fitbit in the evenings instead of mornings (that worked for a few days, then nothing)

Turned off the bluetooth, disabled other bluetooth using devices, turned bluetooth on, trying to sync with fitbit for another fail.

Manually syncing by dragging the app screen to force a sync (this just keeps spinning, thinking perpetually)

Manually syncing by going into the device menu to click the sync icon only for another failure.

I cannot think of anything else to try to fix this issue. All I can think of is that the versa 2 is no longer being supported - which, if that is the case, please someone tell me so I can stop focusing my energy on a lost cause.

I’m having the exact same issue this morning! Not syncing for me either, I even deleted my old account and made a new one!

Having the exact same problem.  Wont give me the correct time either.
