Versa 2 screen blank and flashing

Woke up during the night to find a blank flashing screen on my fitbit. It would vibrate occasional but I cannot see anything. Connected it to the charger to see if that would work. Three hours later and still the same. My phone shows it did a recent sync. Not able to see anything at all. Tried to press and hold the button as suggested but nothing. The screen changes has lines going across it, changes colours and remains blank. I do not see the fitbit logo. The last sync was 40 minutes ago. Now when I try to sync it can't fjnd the device. Also once I put it on my wrist after having it on the charger, the screen goes black and will not turn on unless I put it back on the charger. At that point is starts with the flashing blank white screen again.

I purchased the Versa Lite Oct 2019, and I have blank screen.   When I turn it over I see one flashing light.  I have purchased several Fitbit’s before and never had an issue.   How can this be fixed?

Hi there @KF33426, welcome on board. Thanks for letting me know that your Versa Lite's screen has gone blank and for checking that one of the LED sensor on the back is still working. 

In order for me to better assist you with this, please try the steps below:

  1. Check in the Fitbit app if your Versa Lite is still syncing, if so, try changing the clock face to a different one by following these steps: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?. The steps are done through the Fitbit app, do not worry if you cannot see anything on the screen for this process. 
  2. Restart your device by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Give this a go and let me know how it goes.

I ended up getting a replacement as it was still under warranty.
