Hi @MtHH - unfortunately could be symptoms of a dying watch but try the restart by holding the button for at least 10 seconds and wait for a vibrate. If that is not working the button has a fault too.
This can arise if the watch gets water in it which you may be able to see as condensation droplets in the sensor windows on the back.

Check the contacts on the back of your Fitbit 2 and the contacts on your charger. My Fitbit started dying slowly and I discovered the contacts on both the Fitbit and charger had fried. Apparently from Googling, this is not an uncommon occurrence.

Mine is doing this currently. I just got off a chat with tech support. They told me to wait on an email. I have synced it to the Fitbit app. I have pressed the button and it restarted. I can't see anything on the watch to know what is on the screen. Even the logo on the loading screen is malfunctioning and shaking and miscolored when I can see it momentarily.

Hello,
I woke up to this same screen. I have never had an issue with my Fitbit before.

This seems to be a common occurrence in the Versa
mine was purchased in July 22 and has worked fine till about 2 days before our holiday so didn’t have time to resolve the issue but I have reset it made sure it was up to date software etc but still showed screen like it’s been corrupted like Independence Day
not to happy as warranty has expired so unless someone can help it’s an expensive watch for only 12 months
my previous Fitbit lasted over 3 years and was still working but screen was looking a bit tatty
