I got my first Fitbit watch for Christmas this year and was so excited about it. i was offered the Versa 2 and i love it. Unfortunately, when i got home tonight after a long day, i realised that my screen was damaged. I can't tell if it's cracked or if it's some nasty scratchs but i am devastated. I use to be with a competitor brand, I've had the watch for over 5 years and use to work in a retail store were it got knocked very bad multiple times and never had an issue. The screen almost looks new but i changed my phone and they are not compatible. This is why i asked for a Fitbit as a gift. From what I've been reading online, Fitbit do not offer repairs on their devices and dont cover accidental damages (which i expect this to be considered as it) and it makes me very sad. I did contact customer service and i am waiting on an answer, but in the meantime, I wanted to know if someone in this community had experience the same thing ?

Hi @Mounster I have had minor scratches on my various Fitbits and just lived with it. You can buy screen savers for them on Amazon and they work well. I have used the wet Install ones and found them very good at protecting the screen. Once a screen is cracked or scratched, though, there is no way to fix it.

hi @NellyG , thank you for sharing your experience with me. I will be getting screen protector so that the screen don't continue to damage itself, i just find it disappointing that the only answer they came up with was to buy a new one, and telling me that either ways my watch is no longer warranted from what they saw in my "file" but i got the watch on 25th of december and warranty says its 1 year. Disappointed on many levels but will live with it as i don't really have another option
