Hi there, @Mgobluedan21. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I will do my best to help you with this.
If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hello there
I have started experiecing the same issue: I have restarted my Versa 2 a few times now in the past 8 hours, and also changed the clock as per your instructions, but I can't swipe away from the clock, in no direction.
Any suggestion?
Thank you for your help,
chiara

Mine is unresponsive to swiping and now I have flickering white lines on my screen. I have restarted it several times and have no 3rd party apps. This is my second fit bit. Both stopped working after a little over a year. That's a lot of money to only get a years use out of. Not going to buy again. So disappointing. Will be reporting to BBB

Tried everything .
The screen now just flashes the fitbit sign. Does not hold charge either..
I'm very disappointed, I will be starting my my tour de France ride tomorrow and unfortunately will not have my smart watch.

I came here for help and am so disappointed to see so many others with the same issue of not being able to swipe! Mine started 7/23/24 when I tried to swipe to use the timer, which I use ALL the time. I tried the steps listed by @MarreFitbit and am still having the issue.
I did look back to see how old my Versa 2 is and it looks to be 3+ years old. Maybe this is just the end of its life cycle 😞

Mines just under 2 years . And this is my second fitbit first one went about the same time flickered then died.
This versa seems to have a different problem but the same as others.

This is my second Versa 2 as well. The first one’s battery went out less than a year in so Fitbit replaced it. The swiping is a new issue for me.

I'd like to know what fitbit will do about this as it seems to appear a manufacturing fault? @MarreFitbit

I love the Versa 2 so much that I am on my third one. I am here today to find out what is going on. Mine was acting up with not being able to consistently swipe and now it is flickering like an old tv screen that goes fuzzy with white lines. So frustrated. I too have shut mine down and attempted to change clock face. Mine seem to last 2 years before something happens. Each time it has been something new and I think the warranty I purchased just ran out. I told myself this is the last time I would buy Fitbit if something happened again. I hope this can be fixed!

@MarreFitbit -The link to your tips and recommendations is broken. I am having the same challenges. I've tried restarting and changing my clockface. Neither works.
