Versa 2-step count incorrect

I woke up this morning with an extra 28,000  steps accumulated within 15mins (was asleep during this time) Tried everything to get rid of them but any insight on how to fix this

This is definitely not an expected behavior. To negate the extra data, please manually log a driving activity. For instructions, you can visit this article and open the menu "How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?".

 

To prevent this situation from occurring again, please restart your watch by following these steps.
