I've had my Versa 2 for about a year and it rarely logs any of the floors I climb in my 3-story house. In order to get an accurate floor count, I have to switch to my old Fitbit One. I have a feeling it has something to do with the speed at which I climb the stairs. I have balance problems and spine problems, and I climb stairs slower than most people, I guess. But my old One always registered all of the floors.
I've tried everything suggested in this forum, and nothing helped. Guess I'll continue wearing my One during the day until it gives up.

@jmrcrp It's nice to see you around the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Please keep in mind that your Versa 2 tracks floors by measuring changes in air pressure through a small hole in the back of the watch. If this hole becomes blocked then it can cause this problem.
With that being said, please try cleaning it with by following these steps How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Don't forget that Fitbit devices that count floors have a small hole (altimeter sensor) on the back of the device so please don’t insert any items, such as paper clips, into this hole as you can damage your device.
