Versa 2 stopped working properly

Versa 2 face went blank a few days ago and now won’t synch? Battery life seems very small and got it for Christmas. Upgraded from an HR 2 and disappointed in this Versa 2.

Hi there, @CrystalBennett. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2. I understand how disappointing this can be.

Is your Versa 2's screen still blank? If so, I'd recommend restarting your Versa 2 as instructed here How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the restart doesn't work and your watch has not vibrated when you connected it to the charger, try these steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Regarding the battery level on the Fitbit app, note it updates every time you sync. That means that if your watch hasn't synced yet, your app will still show the battery percentage of the last time sync.

Once you charge your watch make sure to sync and you'll see that the percentage on your Versa 2 will match with the one on your Fitbit app. However, if after following the steps provided in this post, you're still having syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hope that helps.
