Versa 2 stopped working

I have had my Fitbit for a full 24 hours and now it's not working?? I had my last one replaced with the Versa 2, synced it to my phone, successfully using it for just under a day.

Went to bed, went to check the time and nothing. Black screen, so I put it on charge. Nothing. I held down the button for an extended time, the Fitbit logo came up but then went away. So left on charge over night, only to wake up and have the same issues, only now the logo won't even come up. 

24 hours!! How is that even possible for it to stop working that quickly.

Please tell me I can resolve this on my end.
