Hi
I've had my fitbit versa 2 since Feb 2020 and I noticed the battery started to go a lot quicker over the past couple of weeks and yesterday the screen is either now green or black fuzz, I've taken a photo but can't seem to upload here
Is there anything that can be done or is it time to get another....just after a year for a second time ☹️

There is a fault with the IOS Fitbit App causing watches to drain the battery rapidly - a workaround is to turn off Bluetooth on the phone [which will stop sync and notification] but the battery will last normally.
It may be necessary to shutdown the watch and charge it and it should come back on. It may fix the screen issues too.

Thanks Guy
I've tried this but unfortunately the screen is not working at all, going to try and drain the battery down and give it a full recharge to see if it comes back to life.

The screen might not be working if the battery is already flat?
If you charge it for an hour and get it synced with the Fitbit App try changing the clock face in the App in case the face is faulty rather than the watch.

I've tried charging it and it definitely has charge, the screen lights up but is very fuzzy

Did you manage to change clock face just to see if it fixes it?

Last thing to try before getting a replacement is a factory reset and reinstall the watch as if new, which means removing it from the Fitbit App and from Bluetooth and then Click on + Set up a Device in the Fitbit App..

Hi Guy
I tried everything there was no change, I let the battery run completely flat again thought I'd give it one more go at charging and it's come back to life and working perfectly! Thanks for all your help 😀

This also happened to me today. Is your Versa 2 still working? I’ll have to try the same thing. I have a replacement from a February 2020 purchase (that purchase lasted until July 2020–touch screen wouldn’t work, then went completely black). Since I’ve only had ONE out of the last 5 Fitbits live more than a year, it’s very difficult to just purchase another one. They are not cheap. I hope yours is still functioning well and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that mine will come back to life also. 🙂

Ah I feel your pain! After trying everything I gave up and left it for a few days then recharged it. It has been working fine since thankfully! Hope you get same result
