Versa 2 stopped working

My 4th Versa / Versa 2 in 2 1/2 years just died. They seem to die just as the warranty runs out. Don't waste your money on Fitbit. The features and functionality are attractive, but they don't last.

Hi there, @PatCosWal. Welcome to the Community Forums. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

Please know when a Fitbit device is deemed defective we review eligibility using the one year warranty option. For our full warranty terms and conditions, see our Return Policy and Warranty.

Our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy is set into providing as much coverage as we can.

We understand that the outcome of your case with our Support Team is not fulfilling your expectations, but keep in mind that every case is completely different from the other's, thanks for taking the time to share your experiences and feedback. For more information about the outcome of your case, please get in touch with our team again or you can also check our warranty policies here for a better understanding of the information you were provided.

I did check the warranty. I purchased the first Versa 2 from Fitbit in late August 2020, . It has already been replaced under warranty once since then. I took good care of it, did not abuse it at all. You have a lot of unhappy customers out there who have had similar experience to mine. For the price, the device should have lasted way longer than 15 months. I can't  afford to spend a couple hundred dollars on a watch so frequently.  I'm done with Fitbit as a brand!
