Versa 2 stops receiving notifications when I charge it

Hello, 

My versa 2 disables my notification function every time I charge it which means I have to clear the data and reset the notification every time. 

How do I stop it doing this?

I had the same issue come up the last time Fitbit did an update. So frustrating since I count on it to receive notifications from my employer.
