Versa 2 stuck on Fitbit Logo

I cannot get anything except for the fit bit logo .. I have tried restart and reboot. Removed the device. Removed and reinstalled the App.. Nothing works. When I’ve uninstalled and tried to reset the Versa I get as far as adding the 4 digit code, the device then appears on the App but with errors to say apps not loaded .. I try to install eg the clock face but it just errors pairing and loading ..

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2 and trying to troubleshoot it prior to posting here. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Please note the issue you're having comes from performing a factory reset without first unpairing your Fitbit device from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings. With that being said, I suggest following the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.

If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

It am afraid I have done these steps as suggested and it still does not work.. get as far as entering the 4 digit code but then it says there is an error pairing .. the versa shows as loaded and synced but the screen just shows the blue app… I’ve tried to install the clock face and it says that issues pairing and apps not fully loaded. I’ve just checked  my device and settings and they  meet all the requirements as you also suggested to check.
