Versa 2 text messages

I used to have a Fitbit charge 2, and recently upgraded to a Versa 2.  I receive notifications from everything but text messages and this issue also occurred on my charge 2, so I think it is an iPhone issue.  However, I’ve gone into as many settings as I can think of and can’t find a way to get the text messages to come to my versa.  Help!

It is an IPhone issue created by Apple and Fitbit is actively working on a solution.
