Versa 2 touch screen isn't working

when I go to the messages screen to check and read messages the touchscreen doesn't respond to tapping or swiping,  I have changed the clock face 3 times, can't get into settings to turn the watch off. the touchscreen only works on the main clock face screen but as soon as I swipe down to go into messages nothing works.

Hi there @SunsetRunner, thanks for stopping by and for the details provided in your post. I appreciate you've taken the time to change the clock face on your Versa 2 to solve the touch screen. 

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend restarting your watch as follows:

  1. Hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
