Noticed last night that when attempting to open music controls from the drag down menu, the button on the touchscreen is unresponsive. Music controls will still open if set to the hardware button shortcut, so it doesn't appear to be an issue with the music controls feature itself. Quick settings and wallet still open from the drag down menu. It appears that, for whatever reason, the top left corner of the touch screen is nonresponsive. I've had this device less than a year so it seems unlikely that damage to the hardware would have caused this problem.
I have tried various fixes around the forums and of my own intuition including
- Soft reset by holding the hardware button down for 10 seconds
- Changing the clock face to the default
- Syncing the device to my phone
- Checking for updates to the Versa 2
- Running a Factory reset on the Versa 2
None of the above methods has been successful in restoring full functionality of the touch screen.
