Versa 2 tracked steps when not being worn

Hi guys I set up the Versa 2 on the app all synced ok I left it at home while at work today I’ve just looked the On the screen it says I’ve done 444 steps how can this be when I’ve not worn it .. I wear my charge 3 for work and that’s not on the app

Hi @MickYA, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since it showed some steps when you didn't even wear it.

 

I would like to know if you left your watch on a surface with vibrations such as a desk with a computer or an AC system. In the meantime, please restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, monitor your watch and see if it stops tracking steps when not wearing it.

 

Keep me posted on the outcome.
