It started out with a thin white line on the left of the screen and having difficulty using the touch features, then slowly the line became wider and wider until after about a week or so it showed the fitbit logo and no amount of cajoling, rebooting, chanting or praying could change it. Then the screen went dark a few days ago now and I cant turn it back on!

Try checking its recharging
Have a look at the suggestion posted here.
It may have been trying to do a firmware update over bluetooth - it needs to be charged and charging.
Then if you can get it to wake to a logo reinstall it.
In the phone Fitbit App Click on profile photo [top left] Click on + Set up a Device Follow the installation instructions |
