Versa 2 won't charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

We moved a couple of months ago and the charge cord for my Versa 2 went into a box that we still haven't found. We finally got around to buying a new (official Fitbit) charge cord for it, but the screen remains black. I've plugged it into different USB adapters, left it in overnight, tried all the tricks for starting the device afterward,… Nothing. I noticed that the Versa 2 doesn't seem to fit as snugly into the charge cradle as with the original charge cord; there's a little "give" or "bounce," so I'm wondering if it's supposed to be that way—if the contacts are actually making, well, contact. Or did my Versa 2 decide to die altogether from two months' neglect? Seeking enlightenment. Thanks!

Having trouble with this reply. When I click the little camera icon, a window pops up named "Insert/edit image", which contains a series of text fields, the first of which is labeled "Source". I can't find anything like a Browse button.

@JonEiche If you're doing this over a mobile phone, please try switching to a computer or vice versa.

Keep me posted.

Sorry; I've tried replying on both PC and Mac, in multiple browsers, and the camera icon yields the same "Insert/edit image" window every time. On my smart phone there isn't a camera icon at all.:

My Versa 2 looks like this:

My charging cable looks like this:

I can verify that I tried all the troubleshooting steps in the help article you referenced in your first reply.
